If you’ve recently became engaged and don’t know where to start, don’t stress! There are many wedding vendors out there to help you through this process… including ME!
Before you begin, try gaining advice from recently married couples you know. I’m sure you have friends and even co-workers who are willing to share their story of their wedding experience. If not or you did and this wasn’t the advice you were looking for, we, as wedding vendors, are here to help all couples through this!
A wedding planner is the ultimate coordinator of all the wedding things! This person (or team of people) can be hired to orchestrate your every wedding need and execute your vision flawlessly. Of course, this comes with a price tag!
The Knot has conducted great research to provide you with this article:
The average professional wedding planner costs around $1,500.
If a wedding planner is not in your budget, I suggest AT LEAST hiring a day of coordinator (or even a responsible and organized friend/relative) to ensure all vendors show up on time and your wedding ceremony begins on time.
I would say, ALL wedding vendors are able to provide you with some advice. If you know you want to hire a certain florist for your big day, not only will they provide you with a killer floral design, but they will be able to recommend other reputable wedding vendors you may need in the area. Same goes for your venue, photographer and yes, even me, your officiant!
If you feel comfortable, I would never hesitate to ask one of us for help! Even if it doesn’t feel like it would be in our wheelhouse, ask anyway because chances are we know where to go to find the answer for you. We are all pretty resourceful and know others in the wedding industry who can help!
REMEMBER – your hired vendors are here to help YOU AND YOUR FIANCE! Utilize us as much as you can for the wealth of knowledge we hold! And if you appreciate the help you received, please don’t forget to thank us!
